Dear Wine Geometrists,
This week's favourite is a classic Bordeaux, but unknown from most people in Singapore.
Located right next to the worldwide famous St Emilion vineyards, winemaker Eric Prissette has made the most of this chalky soil to bring a fresh product, born to be loved.
A quite universal best-seller, based on 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, it reveals fresh notes of cut grass and strawberry skin. It feels like you are running through the fields in Spring time, going berry-picking!
"Coup de foudre" means "Love at first sight" in French. It definitely deserves its name, as you will certainly fall for its long structure and juicy finish.
